First of all, I apologize for my lack of posts for the past 11 days. Just as the kitchen remodeling was wrapping up, our sweet baby Greta developed a bladder infection with crystals in her bladder. This can be caused by urinary ph, water and fiber intake, diet or stress. One of the articles I read specifically mentions kitchen remodeling! Anyway, she's been on antibiotics (baytril) since the 15th and will take her last dose tomorrow. Yes, it is possible to pill a cat although, needless to say, she does not enjoy it. She will go back for a follow up visit to the vet next Wednesday.
I was behind on making candy boxes for coworkers and finished those last night. I started baking Christmas cookies on Saturday and finished the last two batches tonight. I just have a few more gifts to wrap and then I'm finished.
Now, on to the cards I made this year. Last year I posted a card each day for about a week or so. Well, I didn't get around to doing that this year so I'm posting them all at once...
The weatherman is predicting 3 to 4 inches of snow tomorrow. If that's the case, we will not be going to Lisa & Randy's house for Christmas Eve. We only live 3 miles from them but my mom and dad live about 17 miles away and we certainly don't want them to drive in bad weather. Heck, I don't even want to drive 3 miles in snow. It's ok though because we all have so much to be thankful for; health, happiness, food on the table, warm cozy houses and, of course, each other. If need be, we'll postpone Christmas until next weekend.
I hope you all have a great Christmas!
These are lovely! I love all the different finishes you used with the tree die cut (PTI)!
I'm glad Greta is getting better! I was thinking of her the other day. If you re-model anything again - maybe you'll want to get something like prozac or welbutrin for her so (hopefully) she won't get stressed. Poor little kitty - I know its no fun for you or her!
