Well, it's my last post and last card for the year. I bought the new Martha Stewart mug punch a few weeks ago and decided to use it for this card. I added liquid applique and some glitter for the whipped cream. Looks good enough to drink.

THIS is the last Christmas card that I'll post this year...hee hee hee. I know I said that a few days ago but I made another card and just thought it was too cute not to post. This card was SUPER easy. While I was wrapping presents a few weeks ago, I set aside a piece of wrapping paper to use in a card design. I've had this paper for a couple of years and I love it. It looks very retro, kind of 60's like. I used a piece of the wrapping paper, stamped and punched the sentiment, added a few rhinestones and, viola. I love the result...

We're supposed to have snow tomorrow, only about an inch, but I'm hoping that the streets won't be too bad and I'll be able to make it to work and back home again safely. Keeping my fingers crossed...
I hope everyone had a great Christmas. We sure did. It was so much fun spending time with family enjoying good food and good times. I can't believe that Christmas is over already though. I'll leave the decorations up until Saturday and then they'll be packed away until next year.
We had sort of a White Christmas. I'm not sure if it was officially considered "white" or not but you be the judge...
This is a view from our dining room window. The streets and sidewalks were clear but there was snow on the grass. This is my kind of snow! We did get more snow yesterday though, about 1 1/2 inches. The streets were covered but the salt truck salted the roads and the snow melted within about an hour.
We enjoyed a lazy weekend just relaxing around the house. We went to Tap Room on Saturday for an early dinner. It was their 19th anniversary and were serving beer at 1991 prices, not that we need to be enticed to drink their beer. A cute story regarding the opening back in 1991; there were more customers than expected. They drank all of the beer on hand and the next batch of beer wasn't ready yet. The customers took it in stride and started chanting, "We drank 'em dry, we drank 'em dry" so Tom (Schlafly) gets on the phone and calls Boulevard Brewing in Kansas City and asks if they can help out. Brewers are a close-knit bunch and will help out the "competition" whenever needed so they sent a few kegs of their Bully Porter to hold them over. Now that's what I call team work! :)

OK, here's my final Christmas card post for the year. This is the card I made for Bill. I hadn't used my Dew Drops for a while and I wanted to incorporate them into this design. I love the result...

We're going to spend this evening with my Mom & Dad at their house, enjoying food, games and good times. Tomorrow we'll all go to Lisa & Randy's house to open presents and enjoy dinner together. Luckily the weather is cooperating and the snow is staying away!

Hopefully you're not tired of my cards yet. I still have three more to share here, including this one that I made for my friend, Jenny. Her favorite color is pink so I decided to use pink rhinestones for the ornaments. I lightly sponged Mellow Moss ink on the raised tree image to give it some depth.

I don't usually make the same card for Amanda and Sarah but I just love this stamp set from Papertrey Ink. I had the perfect embellishments for the ornaments so I made the same card in two different colors. Amanda loves pink and Sarah loves green. That being said, here's Amanda's card:

This is the card that I made for Josh. The reindeer was created with the Cricut Christmas Tags cartridge. I added a red rhinestone to his nose to make him into Rudolph...hee hee hee.

This is the card I designed for my friend, Jenny, to make for the people on her Christmas list. She came over last Saturday to eat monkey bread, make cards, and eat lunch at Brickhouse Pub.
Buttons can be used for the berries but they tend to get stuck in the machines at the post office unless you add extra postage...hee hee hee. In order to prevent this, I created the berries by punching circles out of red card stock, applying crystal effects and then sprinkling them with chunky glitter. I love the result.
